- General Details
- Parameters
Coin Cell Heat Press Machine for Lithium Battery Research is a compact laboratory hot rolling press used to adjust electrode thickness and increase active material density after slurry coating and drying. The original XW-GYJ equipment description shows that it is mainly a lab rolling press with heating control, hardened steel rollers and fine gap adjustment, rather than a coin cell sealing crimper.
It is suitable for lithium-ion battery electrode R&D, coin cell sample preparation, material research and small-batch rolling of copper, aluminum or coated electrode sheets.
Machine Function
- Press and densify coated battery electrode sheets after drying
- Adjust electrode thickness before punching or coin cell assembly
- Support hot rolling with digital temperature control
- Improve electrode surface density and material contact
Key Features
- Dual roller structure for compact laboratory operation
- Thermostat heating control with digital temperature display
- Hardened tool steel rollers with chrome electroplated coating
- Inclined block gap adjustment with good self-locking performance
- High precision roller cylindricity for more stable electrode rolling
Applications
- Coin cell electrode preparation
- Lithium battery cathode and anode sheet rolling
- Laboratory active material density adjustment
- Small sample pressing for battery material research
Information Needed for Quotation
- Electrode material and coating width
- Required rolling thickness range

| 14 | Application Notes | The XW-GYJ roller is specially designed for battery R&D in terms of its advantages as affordable, compact and precise. 1. Must use acetone to clean and dry rollers’ surfaces after each use to avoid rusting. 2. Apply anti-rust lubricant on roller surface if machine were to be unused for a long period of time. 3. The minimum thickness of the rolled sheet should depend on the physical property of the materials. Here are some results from our test: |
