XW-CCD43C Full Automatic CCD Cylindrical Cell Polarity Inspection Machine is designed to inspect cylindrical battery pack polarity before spot welding and final pack assembly. The CCD visual inspection system checks whether the positive and negative poles of cylindrical cells are reversed, whether cell positions are misplaced, and whether the battery pack direction is wrong.

This full automatic version is equipped with a conveyor for automatic battery pack loading and unloading. It is more suitable for pack production lines that need faster inspection flow and less manual handling before the welding process.

Why CCD Polarity Inspection Is Needed

In cylindrical battery pack production, wrong cell polarity can cause serious welding defects, short circuit risk and rework. CCD inspection uses camera vision to compare the actual positive and negative pole arrangement with the sample plate or programmed standard, then quickly outputs an OK or NG result and marks the NG position for confirmation before the pack enters spot welding.

Machine Function

The camera collects positive and negative pole data from the cylindrical cells and compares the number and position of the poles with the preset battery pack layout. If the cell polarity, cell position or pack direction is abnormal, the system gives an alarm and marks the NG position, helping operators correct the problem before welding.
