It is used for 18650, 21700, 26650 and 32700 cylindrical cells, helping battery manufacturers complete formation, charge-discharge capacity grading, consistency testing and cell matching before pack assembly.
For newly assembled lithium-ion cells, formation is the first controlled charging process. It helps form the passivation layer on the negative electrode surface, also known as the SEI film. After formation, capacity grading tests each cylindrical cell through charge and discharge, classifies cells by capacity and performance data, and supports more balanced pack production.

System Structure
